brings the next-generation technical wood on the slopes of San Pellegrino Pass, on the Italian Alps
Woodn is a lead presence in the first edition of the Contemporary Art Biennal in the Dolomites, conceived and curated by critic Giorgio Grasso. For his solo outdoor exhibit "The Simple and Nothingness are Everything", hosted on the slopes of the San Pellegrino Pass Ski Area, the Trentino artist Mirko Demattè has reserved "a place in the sun" for his experiments with Woodn material. On the edge of the slopes, all the beauty of the wood composite, thermoformed and molded to the will of the artist, is wrapped in spirals and circles that binds the white of the snow and the blue of the sky in a single ray of light. From architecture to art, a new visual and aesthetic dimension: Woodn designs space, transforming raw material into thought.
Demattè’s Woodn artwork will remain on display on the Cima Uomo Chalet solarium up until April 3rd.
